A preview is not a promise

The picture the try-on produces is a generated impression of a haircut. It is not a photograph of a real result and it is not a guarantee. What a barber can actually do depends on your hair — its type, length, density and how it grows — and on their judgement. Treat it as a conversation starter, not an order. Talk to your barber before they start cutting.

What we are, and what we are not

MarsBazaar LLC provides software. We do not cut hair. We do not employ, supervise, train, endorse or vet barbers, and we are not party to the arrangement between you and a barbershop. The shop is responsible for its own work, its prices, its staff, its premises and its licensing. If something goes wrong with a haircut, it is between you and the shop.

For customers

Upload only a photograph of yourself, or one you have the subject's permission to use. Do not upload a photograph of someone else without asking them, and do not upload a photograph of a child unless you are their parent or guardian.
Booking a time is a request to the shop. The shop confirms it, and the shop may cancel it.
You pay the shop, not us. What you pay, and any refund, is between you and the shop.
Do not use the try-on to make images that are unlawful, harassing, or designed to impersonate somebody.

For barbershops

What it costs

$25 to start. That amount becomes credit on your account — it is not a fee we keep.
$1.75 when a booking is completed, taken from that credit. Not when a booking is made. If the chair stays empty, you are not charged.
Previews cost you nothing. A customer trying haircuts is our cost.
Nothing renews. There is no subscription and no card kept on file. If you never top up, you are never charged again.

Your credit is refundable

If you want to stop, email us and we will refund the credit you have not used. We keep only the completion fees already earned. Credit does not expire.

Taking card payments

If you connect Stripe, you connect your own account. Money from your customers goes to you directly and never passes through us. You are the merchant of record: you own the customer relationship, the refunds and any chargebacks. We can be disconnected at any time from your own Stripe dashboard, without asking us.

Your website and your content

The text, prices, photographs and products you put on your shop page remain yours. You give us permission to publish them on your page and to show them on our map and search while your shop is with us. You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you upload. If you leave, we take your page down.

Claiming a shop

Claiming a listing means asserting that you own or manage that business, and we may ask for a document proving it. Claiming a business that is not yours is a serious misrepresentation and we will remove the claim and the account.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, misrepresents a business, uploads other people's photographs without permission, or uses the service to break the law. We will tell you why, and unused credit is still refundable.

Availability

We try to keep the service running and we do not promise that it always will be. It is provided as it is, without warranty. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited — including death, personal injury or fraud.

Limit of what we owe

Where the law allows a limit, ours is the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost business, lost profit, or a haircut that did not turn out the way a generated picture suggested it might.

Where this is decided

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, and the courts of Palm Beach County have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights your own state gives you.
